Prayer for my healing and the healing of my family.

prayer to be healed when i am sick

When we receive healing from God, it is not only for our own benefit, but also for the benefit of others. We can be an inspiration and a testimony to others who may be going through similar struggles.

I invite you to pray this prayer for your own healing from God, the Divine Healer, the One who can do all things. Pray with all your trust in Him.

Prayer for my healing and the healing of my family.

God of power and glory, almighty Lord, I come before you today in humility of heart, hoping for your mercy for my life and for the lives of everyone in my family.

Thank you that you have been faithful and continue to work your healing hand upon me and my family. We have seen you heal us before when we were sick.

Today I ask that you restore me to full health, that you give me strength, that you also strengthen and heal those in my family who have been weak.

Thank you for providing what we needed, for the medicine, for the doctor's visits, for the companionship during this time.

I pray that you will do your healing work in our bodies and that our good spirits will be maintained, that we will feel the joy of having you and growing spiritually with you.

You are our savior and our healer. Thank you for being our refuge and our strength, for being our quick help in trouble.

I trust in you, Lord, you are my refuge where I live in confidence.

May my faith not falter, but be strengthened. Help me to remember your promises of healing, you are the one who heals all my infirmities. I believe in this word.

Your word is truth and you are the God of life, you are my source of life and health.

Lord, by your command the heavens and the earth were created, may your healing command free me from all burdens of pain and oppression, remove the imbalance from my body and give me vitality.

Help me to always believe in Your power. You are the victor and the conqueror over all sickness.

With you I go forth and rise with new strength.

In you I trust at this moment, my faith is sustained by your faithfulness, I have put all my hope in you.

Thank you for your healing, thank you for breaking every chain of sickness, and thank you for freeing me to praise and glorify you.

Nothing is impossible for You, I believe that just as You raised Lazarus from the dead, You will also give me full life. I believe, I believe with all my heart.

I cover myself with the blood of Christ and I pray this day in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

This true story from the Bible about the healing of a person where Jesus was not present in person also gives you hope for your own healing when you are sick, even though we know that Jesus is real and can heal you anytime, any place, any circumstance.

Read the story carefully and I hope it will strengthen your faith.

Jesus heals a centurion's servant

When he finished speaking to the people, he entered Capernaum.

A Roman captain there had a servant who was on his deathbed.

He prized him highly and didn’t want to lose him.

When he heard Jesus was back, he sent leaders from the Jewish community asking him to come and heal his servant.

They came to Jesus and urged him to do it, saying, “He deserves this. He loves our people. He even built our meeting place.”

6-8 Jesus went with them. When he was still quite far from the house, the captain sent friends to tell him, “Master, you don’t have to go to all this trouble.

I’m not that good a person, you know. I’d be embarrassed for you to come to my house, even embarrassed to come to you in person.

Just give the order and my servant will get well. I’m a man under orders; I also give orders. I tell one soldier, ‘Go,’ and he goes; another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; my slave, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

9-10 Taken aback, Jesus addressed the accompanying crowd: “I’ve yet to come across this kind of simple trust anywhere in Israel, the very people who are supposed to know about God and how he works.”

When the messengers got back home, they found the servant up and well.
